Watch Spurs linked Davy Klaassen in the UEFA Europa League Cup Final tonight

Davy Klaassen is a Dutch footballer who will be captaining young  Dutch side Ajax against Manchester United in the UEFA Europa League Cup Final at 7:45 pm GMT in the Friends Arena, Soina, Stockholm, Sweden, which I hope they lift.

The 24-year-old (25 next February) also plays for Holland (11 caps, 3 goals), and is usually deployed as an attacking midfielder for both club and country.

he has been linked with Manchester United, Ronald Koeman has made it clear he ants to sign him and Tottenham have also been linked with a move for him.

Ajax captain Davy Klaassen spoke to the NOS after Ajax’s 3-1 win away at Willem II in Tilburg and told them that he might have played his last Eredevisie game for Ajax.

”I do not know if I have played my last game for Ajax. I do not know what I want. We have a very important game in Stockholm in 10 days time and I want to focus on that.
”I am proud of our European campaign and when we saw the images of Amsterdam on Thursday it gave my goose bumps.
”You notice that it is something very special. Ajax is being taken very seriously abroad and that helps to put Dutch football on the map again.”

On 9 May the daily mail reported that Ajax had slapped a £21 million price tag on him,. but they do tend to make up figues and given the Dutch would value him in euros, doesn't make any sense. Presumably they mean they have slapped a £21.56 million (€25m - AUS$37.41m - US$27.96m) on him.

he has 2 Dutch Under-19 trophies, 3 Eredevisie titles and 1 Dutch Super Cup to his name and in under contract until 2019. he is right-footed and sponsored by Nike. In all competitions this season he has scored 20 goals and had 12 assists (49 games).

A player to watch tonight.
